I’m a practicing Catholic and would like to delve more into books that are religious/spiritual without being overly preachy. I’m mostly interested in works that are Catholic or Christian in context. I am also open to learning more and educating myself if the context of the book is related to another religion 🙂
So far I’ve started to read the work of Henri Nouwen. Does anyone have any other recommendations? Sort of struggling in life and trying to strengthen my faith too.
TIA!

Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis is the second-best book about the Christian faith.
Try GK Chesterton. He’s a great Catholic author. I’d suggest Orthodoxy and The Everlasting Man.
NT Wright is another great Anglican author. I’d suggest Simply Christian and How God Became King.
