I’m looking for suggestions for a good quality fiction I can read for my next camping trip. Last trip, I read The Things They Carried by Tim Obrien and it was such a good experience. The Australian bush is pretty different to the Vietnamese jungle of course, but still, the vibes were complimentary. Acknowledging too of course, that that book is going to be an amazing read no matter the location.
So please suggest me books that are complimented by trees and dirt and the sound of bugs chirping. Bonus points if it’s likely to be at a moderately well stocked library.
