I’m looking for books that are:
Firstly, it would be good if it’s a romance, young adult book, but if it’s not, that ok too. It can be a series or a single book.
\- Basically feels like a summer night. Or have this summery feeling.
\- Have very vivid descriptions. Like it describes a setting like a room (even with few words), a character, a movement, the way a character looks at the mc, or even a street, and YOU CAN SEE IT LIKE A FILM. I got this feeling very, very few times, and oh my god. It was awesome.
\- Have really good, bittersweet writing. The one that has a rhythm to it, a tune.
\- It is about a really good friendship: two best friends, or maybe one losing the other one. Or about friends. Character ages can be from 16 to 25. Good friendships as the way it feels very real: teasing, funny, but at the end of the day very loyal and caring. It can be about how their friendship develops into this. Plus point if it’s in high school or a small town.
\- It’s about a friend group that goes for a field trip for like a week to some location/vacation or it’s about a summer camp.
\- Have really great, interesting, realistic characters.
\- A book with mr. popular, the “highshcool king” sort of guy as the love intrest who falls for the girl, he can be a asshole (BUT NOT TOO MUCH!), but it would be even better if he isn’t a bully, and he is popular because everyone loves him.
For example, I love the way Sarah Dessen writes.
Obviously, It doesn’t have to be all in one book. It can be about just friends, or one that has really good descriptions, or one with mr. popular.
