An explanation of the economic origins of the first (and/or) second world wars

My view is that economic forces fist influence politics and the politics then causes war.

Does anyone know any books that explain the economic and political situation in the late 19th century/early 20th century in lead up to the first world war?

Or equivalent for ww2?
