Hello all, I am new to this specific sub and I am hoping to get lots of good recommendations. My Love of reading started when I was young and in school and had an obsession with reading all of the banned books. so I started on a journey finding stories that were maybe sad, or frightening or confrontational, but were very touching. I recently just finished the kite runner and have already read 1000 splendid suns and many other books similar to that and I would love to read another story as touching as the kite runner.
I’m looking for any recommendations of touching stories, maybe even hard to read. I’ve read all the basics like the book thief and all the light we cannot see and memoirs of a geisha and many more…I’m just looking for something I haven’t seen yet, new or old. Thanks a million.
