As titles says, I am looking for **engaging** books on general knowledge, most likely history. I’ve read Sapiens and thought it was okay. I wasn’t looking to read A Brief History of Everything. Ideally the book will be well respected in its field.
Truth is, I like reading but I’m looking to become more **insightful** about useful things in the world, and without reading an encyclopedia I don’t really know where to start.
