I’ve never read any of Fredrik Backman’s work and I’m really excited to start… I just completed the 2nd mistborn book and need a break from Fantasy and those two very popular books popped into my mind
Please let me know which one should I read first and what should I be my expectations before starting either one.

I would start with anxious people, beartown is the first of 3 books so might as well knock out the stand alone.

Beartown. besides Ove, I think it’s his best book (the whole trilogy is fantastic).
I would definitely start with Anxious People. Both are great, but Anxious People is a little lighter, and a great introduction to Fredrik Backman.
If you enjoy that one, read his other books.
