These are typically horror, thriller, and dark comedy.
I find it very cathartic to read books about vigilante types of women who kill r**ists, p*dos and just sexist assholes etc. One of my favorite books of all time is Sweetpea by CJ Skuse.
I also just like reading from the perspective of someone who is kind of out of her mind.
Other books of this type I have read include How to Kill Your Family, Bad Men, How to Kill Men and Get Away with It.
I tried A Certain Hunger, but there were weird, extremely graphic r*pey jokes that really turned me off to it. Does anyone know of other books with female vigilante types, or just plain female psychopaths?
