I bought a bunch of his books recently but have so far only read two, Patriotism and Life for Sale. Patriotism was simple yet so intriguing, barely over 50 pages and you already knew how it would end yet given that scenario you feel the need to hold onto every second you’re given with these characters as they try to savior what they have left themselves. All the details in each page meant so much more before, during, and after the event yet you still knew the path you were on had to end this way. I really liked it.
Life for Sale was such a joy to read, I love when characters just get themselves in such ridiculous situations and especially in that mind set where they just go with the flow so long as they get what they want in the end. All the characters made me more excited to see who would steal the spot light next as they kept the story so interesting and fun. I always look forward to finding a book where the future doesn’t have to be fleshed out, to some people it’s a simple as making do with what ever is thrown your way.
I’m going to read Confessions of a Mask next and more of his books. If anyone else has read his books I’d love to know your thoughts.
