Something like Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane or the short story The Solider Prince by Leigh Bardugo (from her collection book the language of thorns).
I’m absolutely obsessed with this type of story, where an artificial human or a doll/toy/etc has human thoughts and learns about humans from an outsiders perspective, learning how to become “alive” and have their feelings.
Can be any genre and any reading level I’ll read childrens, teen, adult, whatever, I just want more of this type of this story and couldn’t pass up the chance when I saw this community exists. Thanks!
