I am looking for modern pirate novels.
If course I have read treasure island, but I am specifically looking for straight up swashbuckling action.
I don’t want fantasy/sci-fi takes on pirates.
I would like it to be a modern author, around the last 40 years.

It’s YA, but I absolutely loved [Pirates! by Celia Rees](https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/143727) when I was younger.
