I want to gift a book to 12 yr old who is extremely interested in doing science experiments
He is also a voracious reader and enterprising and smart. There are many science experiments games available which I could gift but I want something which will inspire him more. He is way ahead in knowledge for his age and is doing few basics of electrical, robotic things from a readymade kit (frankly speaking I cannot even asses the level as I have no clue about it 😬).
Are there any books which gives information and/or nudges for home experiments for kids. It could be something he can use for few yrs then all the better.

Happy to hear about kids like him 🙂
Here you have 4 book ideas:
1. *”The 101 Coolest Simple Science Experiments”* by Rachel Miller, Holly Homer, and Jamie Harrington:This book is filled with easy and engaging experiments that can be done at home. It covers a wide range of topics and provides step-by-step instructions, making it perfect for a young experimenter.
2. “*Awesome Science Experiments for Kids*” by Crystal Chatterton:This book focuses on hands-on experiments that can be done with household items. It encourages kids to explore and learn scientific concepts through exciting activities.
3. “*STEAM Lab for Kids: 52 Creative Hands-On Projects for Exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math*” by Liz Lee Heinecke:This book goes beyond simple experiments and delves into the realm of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). It’s perfect for a young, enterprising mind, providing a wide array of creative and intellectually stimulating activities.
If he is really into robotics, maybe this one could be nice:
4. “***The Robot Book: Build & Control 20 Electric Gizmos, Moving Machines, and Hacked Toys***” by Bobby Mercer:This book provides instructions for building various robots and electronic gadgets, allowing for hands-on exploration in these fields.
I hope this helps!
