So I read Percy Jackson series and got really interested in Mythology (especially Greek). So I started reading Mythos and I am loving it. Are there any other books like this (written in a light hearted manner) about other Cultures/important ancient events like the Trojan war? It should be light hearted/casual because otherwise it just feels like I am learning.

The *Aru Shah* series by Roshani Chokshi
Macunaima by Mario de Andrade is a Brazilian fantasy based on Amazonian mythology.
Maybe *Norse Mythology* by Neil Gaiman – it is the authors personal take on those myths told in an entertaining way, much like Stephen Fry’s books in my opinion. The audiobook is good as well!
