I just finished all four books in the John Dies at the End series and I’m looking for something similar. I read one of Pargin’s other novels, Futuristic Violence and Fancy Suits, hoping it may feel similar. Unfortunately it didn’t quite scratch the itch, despite being an amusing read nonetheless. The series is described as “Comic Lovecraftian Horror” and I’m open to pretty much anything that would fit into such a description. I’m also open to anything that’s similar but more mystery aligned if such a book exists. Any suggestions?
