in need of book recommendations to itch my brain

I (24F) am typically open to most genres. i usually always read the book before the movie. im not into horror, though suspense is welcomed. I tried romance/fantasy and i was hooked on ACOTAR and fell off on the third book. I enjoy westerns/historial fiction, fem books (?) (virgin suicides, the bell jar, the devil wears prada, gone girl), to vonnegut and psych pieces/self help. I like books from POV <2000. I enjoy books that make you feel good like where the crawdads sing and the secret life of bees. I am moreso looking for something thats going to give me new perspectives, novels that you feel are *necessary* everyone should read, literary classics, political pieces.
