For example I really enjoyed the Long Earth series by Terry Pratchet and Stephen Baxter, I also more recently enjoyed Cytonic by Brandon Sanderson. Both of these involve the characters exploring incredibly alien environments/worlds, I’d love to read more things with similar vibes.
