David Sodergren is a Scottish author who self-publishes his own horror novels. His material isn’t exactly highbrow (gratuitous sex and violence, a lot of plot elements that are mostly for shock value), but he still makes them all enjoyable reads that resemble pulp novels. *The Haar* for one is a really unique romantic horror novel about environmental justice, a kickass old lady and a mysterious entity. From there I dove into a few of his other works: *The Forgotten Island* and *And By God’s Hand Shall You Die*.
I was curious if there are any other fans of his on here and if not, who’s your favorite guilty pleasure/pulp author to read?
