I have read my fair share of suspense/ thriller books. And there are only few book that have had me on edge while reading.
    Some of those books were:
    ● Dead inside
    ● Before I go to sleep
    ● Things have gotten worse since we last spoke
    ● Sharp objects
    ● I’m thinking of ending things
    ● The kind worth killing
    ● The family upstairs
    ● The perfect child
    ● The guest list
    ● Woman in the window
    ● The turn of the key ( I didn’t like it that much, and stopped reading it midway)
    ● Tender is the flesh (I really liked this one)
    ● How to survive your murder (didn’t like the ending)
And many other booka in this same genre.

I would like some suggestions, specially if you have any similar to Dead inside and Tender is the flesh. Just some very mindf*cking books.
Or books with some nail biting plot twists.

    1. If you liked *Tender is the Flesh*, you have a strong stomach! Someone in a similar vein you should check out is Mona Awad. Try *Bunny* or *Rouge*.

I can’t recommend Sara Gran enough for you. Look for *The Book of the Most Precious Substance* and her Claire DeWitt mystery trilogy. *Claire DeWitt and the City of the Dead* is the first book. There is no one that writes like her.

Complete your Gillian Flynn reading experience, it’s worth it: *Dark Places*, *Gone Girl*

Ruth Ware books I liked better than *Turn of the Ke*y: *One by One, The Death of Mrs. Westaway, In a Dark, Dark Wood* (And a few I didn’t: *Zero Days* and *The Lying Game* were not great)

Riley Sager writes well-made thrillers. I didn’t love all of his books but some I think are definitely worth trying: *Final Girls, The Last Time I Lied, Home Before Dark*
