Can anyone suggest a book about a person holding a victim or obsessive stalker?

I’ve read The Collector by John Fowles, The Butterfly Garden by Dot Hutchison and the You series. I particularly enjoyed The Butterfly Garden. It doesn’t have to necessarily be about a serial killer or include that obsessive love element.
