The 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed Out The Window and Disappeared is great! And and others by Jonas Jonasson. Also Richard Osman’s Thursday Murder Club series.
Osman’s books are very British snark.
Jonasson’s are more situational. But they’re Ajay fantastic books.

Let’s Pretend This Never Happened was the funniest thing when I read it, but maybe I was in a mood? Idk, give it a try.

All Systems Red by Martha Wells – not as absurd as HGttG but a funny (and fast!) sci-fi read.

Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K Jerome.
Had me laughing every few pages.

Several People Are Typing, by Calvin Kasulke. I laughed out loud several times, really surprised myself.

“The Rook: On Her Majesty’s Supernatural Secret Service”, by Daniel O’Malley is a very well-written and cleverly funny read with an utterly bizarre Men In Black tone. Also the first of three.
