A good self-help video suggested finding books with a “sense of awe.” I’m 56 and that seems kind of non-specific. I read the Harry Potter and Dark Tower series forever ago, but what can old fool like me get into? I’m not really into fantasy and/or sci-fi, but Dark Academia is fine. Thanks!

Words in deep blue is very good and gave me this feeling although you may not like it (it’s targeted for young readers so maybe that’s not what you like).
I know Brandon Sanderson is hit or miss in this sub but his Stormlight Archive series fits the bill
DUNE!
