What are some good books that a man can read to understand the woman’s worldview?
From a clueless mid 20s man. I searched online and found some very interesting criminal thrillers, but will these be good for inner character monologue?
I’d read Women Talking by Miriam Toews. Was probably my top 5 reads last year.

I’m going to make a wildcard recommendation that can be read in an afternoon – *The Yellow Wallpaper* by Charlotte Perkins Gilman.
It’s a short piece of classic literature entirely written in a journal format – reminiscent of *Flowers For Algernon* and *Call of Cthulhu* with a surprise Victorian glimpse into women’s struggle for self determination and modern medicine’s bewilderment with mental health. A wild ride with themes that many can still relate to more than 130 years after it was published.

Are you looking for fiction or non-fiction? For non-fiction I would recommend *How to Think Like a Woman* by Regan Penaluna, *The Liar’s Club* by Mary Karr, and *Girlhood* by Melissa Febos. For fiction maybe *Reproduction* by Louisa Hall, and *Nightbitch* by Rachel Yoder.
