I hope I don’t sound pretentious but can anyone recommend books that center queer experiences that are more literary/realistic? I love a good YA, fantasy, or coming-of-age as much as the next person, but I’d like to get into more literary queer experiences that give a bit more to chew on. Books like A Single Man and A Little Life (for all its controversy it at least attemtped to give depth).
