Hi all,
I am about to complete my undergrad which required rather intensive reading, and as such I sadly see reading as more of a chore than something to enjoy. I have attempted to read non-fiction, mainly surrounding historical events, but I haven’t been particularly hooked by anything.
I recently picked up Dune: Messiah and have been enjoying it, but obviously I just want to see what happens after the events of the movie. I would quite like to get into the classics, however I have no idea where to start. I like some sci-fi and historical period pieces as mentioned so are there any fiction books you would recommend within those realms which I might enjoy?

Update: I’ve bought Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep too. I like sci-fi but mainly stuff written from the 1800s-1980s.
