Just finish First Lie Wins and it is def a new one of my favorites. I love a good unputdownable thriller that keeps you in the edge of your seat while also having a little romance — where the Crawdads Sing being another example (and one of my favorites).
Preferably I don’t want the whole book surrounding a relationship, but I enjoy when there’s a little bit of romance involved.
I also hate when u think it’s gonna be a good ending for the couple and then the guy turns out to be the “bad guy”. It’s not only frustrating but the “twist” is lowkey formulaic and predictable lol so it pisses me off in both thriller and romance genres. I know these r a lot of specifications but help me out!
Also I can’t stand Colleen Hoover…
