I like to listen to audiobooks at work before we open for customers. I’m a stock clerk at a grocery store so it doesn’t require brain power but sometimes I have to pay attention to what I’m doing and can’t be fully immersed in the book so I need suggestions for books where it’s okay if you stray a little off for a few minutes but can easily pick back up on what happened when you were distracted. I’m open to any genre of book.

The Harry Potter series honestly
Spare by Prince Harry and From Scratch by Tembi Locke. Great voices and story telling. Both memoirs so low stakes if zoning out
I’m currently listening to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s audiobook, Be Useful. You can easily miss a sentence here or there without missing much.
This is how I finished the Outlander series last year. I listened during my commute and whenever I had mindless tasks to work on.
The stormlight archives is decent but extremely long and takes forever for the plot to actually progress. So maybe that.
