Looking for books where there is a loyal companion, warrior or guardian situation. Specifically a male loyal companion, warrior or guardian to a strong female character, but ITS NOT ROMANCE. Sci-fi or fantasy genres are preferred. I also looking for stories where this friendship is featured throughout the story (i.e. not just in passing once or twice in the entire story).
Just really wanting a great dynamic that isn’t romantic that give me the feels like Garrus and Shepherd friendship in Mass effect. (Yes I know its ironic that I gave an example where they could be romanced but I just am thinking about the friendship storyline)
