    I’m going to have a weekend available to crush a series so after I’m done with Manifest Delusions I want to find a new series. I recently watched Cyberpunk Edgerunners and while it wasn’t my favorite I really enjoyed the concept of a character going insane to achieve something (intentionally or not). Any recommendations, sci-fi or not doesn’t matter in the slightest to me.

    1. Here are some:

      * We Are Satellites by Sarah Pinsker. She has a nice, easily-readable writing style. I’d argue this novel is in the cyberpunk genre, but it’s not set very far in the future and there’s no punk elements until later on, so it isn’t typically called cyberpunk.

      * Blindsight and Echopraxia by Peter Watts. You could read these in any order if you wish, but technically Blindsight comes first. Blindsight is available as a free ebook on the author’s website, but IMO Echopraxia deals more with the idea of treading the line of sanity.

      * Babel-17 by Samuel R. Delany.

      * The Luminous Dead by Caitlin Starling. This is a horror novel.

    2. Echo, by Thomas Olde Heuvelt – not cyberpunk, it’s contemporary horror, but it’s good

      Maybe Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk? Classic but it gives similar vibes to Cyberpunk edgerunner to me
