Was never into reading until I discovered the pulp noir genre. Now I can’t get enough.
Looking for more underrated titles that are fast-paced, hard-boiled, & violent. Similar to The Name of the Game is Death by Dan J. Marlowe or Fast One by Paul Cain.
Preferably written in the 1970s or before.
Thanks!

Any of Raymond Chandler’s books would be a good fit.
’80s, not ’70s, but the Factory series starting with *He Died With His Eyes Open* is maybe the most underrated crime books of them all.
