I don’t like serial killers, crime, war, cop drama, or humans doing terrible things in general. I always figured thrillers are just not for me.
But I just finished reading JAWS, and I liked the breakneck reading speed and the sense of immediate danger. It was a great change of pace from the heavy books I’ve otherwise been reading. I also like disaster and monster movies like Godzilla.
Can anyone recommend fast-paced thriller books that are about non-intelligent monsters, natural disasters/events, or anything where the danger has no motive and is equivalent to a force of nature?
