Hi, I’ve been hunting really hard for books that feature non-evil hallucinating, delusional or otherwise psychotic characters. The top ten Google searches for this are all lists of books with psychopathic main characters, so I’d really appreciate some ideas! I already know about Don Quixote, Yellow Wallpaper, Notes from Underground, Tell-Tale Heart etc (plus all four do make psychosis a catalyst for violence, so not quite what I’m looking for).
