Obviously two wildly different topics here but will keep my explanation short. I’ve worked inside sales at my company for about 5 years and built a good reputation as a subject matter expert in a couple areas so I’ve been heavily involved (as a contributor) in a few projects related to improving our processes for the last year.
I’ve made some good connections during it and it’s paid off and I’m being thrust into a new role centered around project delivery starting in a couple months (I have a few business travel trips to take care of in my current role and need to train the new hire on my accounts). In short its going to require a lot more public speaking, presentations, and leading different people towards a unified goal, with the goal on most of these projects being improving our admittedly inefficient and outdated processes.
Been devouring the courses my company offers but am an avid reader and while I’m usually a fiction reader, would like to do a little independent study on these topics. Especially during the traveling I mentioned having to do since there will be flights, decent drives in between places, etc.
So… TLDR: any recommendations on books related to those two topics? The more digestible to the better. These courses are dry.
