Trying to get back into reading; looking for supernatural crime mystery type stuff.

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for a book or series of books that blend crime-solving with the paranormal or supernatural. Think something along the lines of *The X-Files*. I would like if it has some horror elements, but nothing too grizzly. I’m looking for something at an adult level, unless it is a particularly good YA.

I can’t really think of anything more to describe what I’m looking for, and I don’t want to narrow it too much. If I’m too vague I can try to add more.
