Suggest me a book with an MC that reflects a lot on sexuality and gender identity- especially involving toxic obsession with a love interest!!

Books I’ve enjoyed that fit this:
Middlesex, Lolita, Call Me By Your Name, The Secret History, If We Were Villains 🙂 I really like books that have toxic and obsessive LGBT main characters. Best if the book isn’t actually a romance but moreso a reflection on identity and obsession.
