Fiction based in Japan/heavily influence by Japanese Culture

Hi All,

I’m looking fiction set in Japan or heavily influenced about Japanese culture. Bonus points if originally in Japanese and translated to English.

Preferably something that’s not too dense or setup driven (not looking for a Japanese ‘Dune’).

Context: I’ve been researching cultural differences in corporate structures in Japan vs the US and the EU for work, and it’s been fascinating. Consequently, I’d like to expand the influences of my pleasure reading.
