Hello, I’m a 17 year old boy, and I just finished reading the book Finders Keepers by Stephen King. In the book a 17 year old boy is being black mailed. I really enjoyed the book, and reading about him dealing with a high pressure situation. I felt like the book focused so much on keeping the plot moving that characterization was somewhat sidelined. One of my favorite characters in all fiction is Levin from Anna Karenina. I not only found him endearing because of his shyness, but I liked seeing him find his purpose in life throughout the novel. I also really enjoyed Pierre in War and Peace. So ultimately I guess I’m looking for a book with a teen boy character that is in a really tricky situation like from a Stephen King novel, but that is characterized more along the lines of a character from a Tolstoy novel.
