Hello! I am looking for an intense, nonstop action, fantasy novel. (Sci-fi works too). Something as intense as like, the movie Apocalypto (if you have seen that). Or a constant chase or need to move or run or escape. Preferable an underdog story and/or female protagonist. Another example would be the movie Gladiator, but a story where it starts right off with action and is relentless.
I am comparing to movies because I have never read anything like this, nor can I find good recommendations searching online.
