I just finished reading The Apt Pupil, a novella by Stephen King. I’m not big on his novellas, and the end was odd. Then I decided to watch the movie. Within the first 15 minutes, there were so many differences, ie- the year it took place. And the movie definitely was different, including the ending. But the book was definitely better.
How do others feel about books vs the movies that were made from them?

The books are *always* better, and when a King movie adaptation is good, it’s going to be more true to the book.
(There are people who love some of the movie adaptations that totally deviate from the book; I can’t agree with them.)
