I have been on the desperate hunt to find a book that fills the “sapphic sacrilegious mutually obsessive love maybe they’re a littttle culty” sized hole in my bookshelf, but unfortunately haven’t been able to find it myself! Haha
Now, I’m totally open to books that don’t strictly fit the thriller genre!
I’ve just finished “The World Cannot Give” by Tara Isabella Burton— it was certainly *not* what I was anticipating upon recommendation for a sapphic religious undertone thriller? But it was definitely in the ballpark when it came to the general aesthetic. Preferably something with a bit more character depth and mutual relationships LOL
