Please suggest me a book featuring a healthy adult couple. Bonus points if the couple is already together when the book starts or it heavily features their experiences as a committed couple.
I’m potentially about to go long distance with my partner of 4.5 years for our PhD studies and we’re both taking it hard. I’m really craving stories about loving couples supporting each other through their stories.
Recently I read The Mustache by Emmanuel Carrere (psychological horror) and the bond between the protagonist and his wife was the most compelling part for me and I absolutely ached for their reunion the whole second act of the book.
I like to read fantasy and Sci fi but realistic fiction or other genres are fine as long as they are not set in a historical period. Memoirs also welcome.
