Hello everyone! I’ve searched so many things and I can’t find this book I listened to a couple of years ago. It was an adult book but not super spicy and it started with a girl almost being caught by the royal guard for something and she flees back to a pub where her (kind of adopted) dad is. She dressed like a boy and her “dad” boss is a magician and she’s an assistant. The guards show up to watch the show and then ask her and the magician to come to the castle to preform for the king. Once there she finds out she’s connected to the moon and has magic. They also capture dragons to kill in a gladiator style arena and she find that she’s connected to one of the dragons. She also falls in love with one of the kings guards. In the audio book they were scottish. I never got to finish the series and it’s been driving me mad lately. Lol
