English is my third language so spare me.
I have started reading fiction with spy novels. Then I read romantic novels in Urdu and in recent years I have tried few in english as I have read almost all in Urdu of my type.
So English ones are my option but here are some issues.
The most concerning thing is the ability of a novel to alter my feelings. I’m in early 20s so I don’t want a book to leave me craving for women. I read “silent killer” by BB and few others, They all have the ability to impact my feelings (I faces the same issue with Urdu novels, movies, series but in English N its more intense as thier are scenes too).
I searched for spy novels etc but either there language is too complex, or they have long explanations which I can’t read. So my second issue is complex sentence structure, and non conversational novels.
If you read a novel that you believe could be my type, Suggest me it.
