Child of a Mad God is one of my favorite books I’ve read in recent times. I really enjoy the sort of “primal fantasy” vibes I got from it. I wasn’t a huge fan of the rest of the series as it felt like it sort of departed from that vibe a bit.
I know the obvious recommendation is Salvatore’s Drizzt books but they don’t quite give me the vibe I’m talking about.
