I’ve never been able to read any classics but have seen a lot of people recommend reading this particular classic (Wuthering Heights) around the holidays. I just want to get some perspective and understand what’s appealing about it and if I should give it a try?

It wouldn’t be my first choice for a classic novel.
I absolutely hated that book. Some people love it…..without you giving any more info about what other books you really like, I’m not sure anyone could suggest it or against it for you.
Me now: Not your typical happy ending. Terrible people. Real lessons in manipulation and abusive personalities.
Me as a teen when this was one of my favorite books: it’s such a great love story
It’s sort of the anti-romance novel . Some people find it compelling and haunting. I’m one of them. Others can’t into it, or don’t want to read about suck screwed up people.
You’d have to read it to see where you fall.
