I 18f got into audiobooks recently. I am currently listening to the Harry Potter series and I am on Half blood prince. My parents got me the full book set (physical copy) for Christmas last year and I enjoy following along with the book. Due to me being college I haven’t had time to read the actual book and I forgot that I can listen to the book with my phone and decided to try to get into reading it again. I only started it after finishing the 5th movie. However, I need new audiobooks recommendations. I tried to get into Maze Runner to see if I would read it after Harry Potter but the reader was boring in my opinion. I tried Rangers Apprentice as well and I admit I was kind of good and I actually like it but it’s 12 books in the series and each one is super long but I like long books. I even tried Divergent which I actually enjoyed but didn’t get the chance to finish since I wanted to finish HP first. I know I definitely want to do Chronicles of Narnia but I want to read a different series first. I might do hunger games but I don’t know if I would be interested in the storyline enough. Any other suggestions? I like fantasy and Dystopian genre but any genre works but horror depends on the book.

I heard the Raven Cycle’s audiobooks are pretty good. It’s a great fantasy YA series. One of the best out there in my opinion
The Blacktongue Thief by Christopher Buehlman – the audiobook is particularly good
The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle
If you don’t mind ghosts, the Lockwood & Co books were great audiobooks!
I think you would like the Scythe series. I enjoyed all of them. It fits the fantasy-sci-fi-dystopian description well.
Gideon the Ninth is one of my favorite audiobooks – snarky lesbians sword fighting outer-space. Gothic, fantasy/sci-fi hybrid that is super fun. It can be a bit much to keep track of the 9 houses via audio, just keep with it. The narrator, Moira Quirk, is perfect.
Enders Game (sci-fi) and Lies of Loche Lamorra (fantasy) are great books, you don’t need the audio. Iron Widow is sci-fi with a female main character and an Asian feel, a nice change of pace.
Dungeon Crawler Carl is fun and an amazing audio. That narrator is so good, he elevates a quirky 8/10 book into a top-notch 10/10 adventure.
