I am reading the Mountain Man series by Keith C Blackmore and getting to the prequels. I find that I am enjoying the stories of the immediate aftermath of the apocalyptic event and the scavenging aspect.
I’ve read a number of zombie series with a military focus and am burnt out. I have read most of the highly recommended stuff like Earth Abides, The Stand, The Road and Swan Song. For the more recent books I liked Slow Burn and Hell Divers, did not care for Zombie Fallout.
Any recommendations?
