3. Themes about adolescence and growing up with confusing ideas about masculinity and social politics.
I’m an Adolescent Education major and I have to create an annotated bibliography of 10 YA novels that I think lend themselves to an educational environment. I’d like to have a wide variety of stories in my locker by the end of this which is why I’m looking for such a specific kind of book. I already have a lot of stories about young girls, LGBTQ+ teens and first-generation immigrant families. Those stories are very important, don’t get me wrong, but I’m looking for something that could be relevant to the cis-white-male demographic (that isn’t bigoted garbage, obviously). Any help would be appreciated!
