Hello there! As indicated by the title, I am currently searching for some educational books on poisons/toxins. I’m intending to use the information for a story I wanted to write. So I need the data to be rather detailed, because I want to get a good grasp on how to write about it.
I’m especially interested in lethal toxins and the related information about: how much of the toxin has to be ingested to cause death, how quickly it acts, what it looks, smells or tastes like, and all sorts of other important facts that I shouldn’t miss as an author to perfectly portray everything.
While trying to conduct research on Google, I had trouble finding detailed information. And when I tried to look for more specific facts for some toxins, it straight up spat out the suicide helpline for my country. If there’s any websites with very detailed information about toxins, such recommendations would also be very welcome. But if there isn’t, I’ll take any educational book recommendation. 😀

She is a toxicologist who consults for free on interesting but medically correct poison murders for mystery authors. She’s just a big fan of the genre and doesn’t charge for her services (not at the time this was written anyway… she may have become too famous and charge for her time, but that didn’t use to be the case)
