So far I’m 85 pages in and feel like giving up. I love dystopian/post apocalyptic books more than anything. After reading that people compared this to Cormac McCarthy’s The Road, I had very high hopes. But honestly, all day I have been struggling with this book. The writing is very annoying (SERIOUSLY, USE PUNCTUATIONS!!!!), the very slow pace bothers me too. When will something finally happen?
I am about to give up.. what is the hype about this book? And how dare anyone compare this to the masterpiece called The Road?! 😠
