Hey everyone I would like some new books to add to my collection and I’m hoping you can help me share with me some books that you wish everyone would talk about more or talk about at all. If that made sense. Anything Goes! Just because all I keep seeing is everybody talking about the same books and nobody ever takes the time to talk about anything that isn’t going to bring them a ton of views gain them a ton of followers and get them noticed by the publishers.
Which isn’t fair to a lot of these authors because they deserved so much recognition and readership just as much as the ones everybody talks about on the daily. I mean seriously if they would give even one of these not well known books a chance imagine what it could do for the author and how many more readers it could gain to them. So please if you could help me out and share some of these books with me I would very much appreciate it looking for young adult to new adult.

The Underland Chronicles (first book is Gregor the Overlander) is a great series that I never hear anyone talk about. Its by the same author as The Hunger Games but is more urban fantasy.
The Ash Mistry series (first book is the Savage Fortress) is probably even less known. I’d best describe it as Percy Jackson but with Hindu mythology, but not derivative of PJO at all.
I think both of these series are technically childrens lit, they have young protagonists. But both have some very dark content and deep themes that I think makes it suitable for young adults as well. (The ending of The Savage Fortress is absolutely horrifying)
I think it’s time for a Francesca Lia Block revival for YA- I could see her books potentially becoming popular again; they were somewhat popular/well known in the 90’s and early 2000’s in the YA lit world. She has a very specific style and sort of merges fantasy with big city life (usually Los Angeles). I feel like subconsciously her books probably influenced a number of contemporary YA lit writers.
